I weeded children’s books at Woodland this week, making enough room to display books on the shelves.  I was still working when the library opened and was lucky enough to see a young patron walk up the beginning readers shelves and take all four of the books I had displayed.  She grabbed them up without looking at anything else and went to sit down at the table and began reading them.  I’m pretty sure she checked them out, too.  Anyway, it was great to see a real life example of the benefits of having room on the shelves to display!
