Reading and Gaming

October 9, 2008

The New York Times had an interesting article in Monday’s paper on hooking readers through gaming.  It talked about the popularity of libraries hosting gaming events and if those events created readers.  Read the article here.  I’ve nosed around a bit online looking for a booklist that connects games and books, but I haven’t found one.  I know I read something about providing readers advisory by asking what video games a patron (member?) was interested in, but I can’t locate it.  Any thoughts?  Any video game/book matches you’ve made?
